DTS-ES Mixes?
I have been wondering where all the DTS-ES and Dolby EX mixes are? I know Jurassic Park 3 is an ES film. But why is it not advertised? Unbreakable was an ES film. Again not advertised. If studios are afraid of scaring away customers by putting DTS-ES mix on the box, they should look at Gladiator. It is written everywhere on that box. I have heard that ES mixes greatly enhance the listening experience. And since downmixing works perfectly, there is no reason not to include this on discs. I know A.I. is an ES mix, so I am waiting to here what Dreamworks is going to do with that. Also Disney's Atlantis. I think Cast Away was not even ES theatrically, but they changed it for DVD. Same with Seven and T2. Interesting to me that almost all films mixed in ES are sound designed by Gary Rydstrom. Is he the only one who has a clue that the sound is better?

Off the top of my head, I know that the release from Anchor Bay of "Suspiria" is in DTS ES. I don't know if the sound design in this movie really showcases this format, but I'm really glad they have included it anyways, I hope it's something they continue to do.
