Who else is thinking about the movie the Seige?

I cannot get that movie out of my head after today. I'm not there but thats all I can think about. I am horrified and all my prayers go out to every innocent victim that was killed today. I hope there is a god and they find eternal life and happiness.

The whole thing feels like a tragic movie. Didn't Escape From New York have Air Force One hijacked and crash into the World Trade Center in New York? It's just so huge it doens't feel real.

I hear you Hank, I thought about that movie too. As well as Executive Decision.

God Bless America.

I am here sitting in front of my TV in Australia unable to move for the last twenty hours, and I too immediately thought of 'The Siege'. I wonder how Edward Zwick and the rest of the cast and crew must be feeling right now.

I don't think we'll be seeing a movie of this subject matter for a long time.

Take care guys, God Bless....

The Tom Clancy novel "Debt of Honor" had a Japanese terrorist crashing a 747 into the Capital building during a joint session of congress, killing the President, Speaker, and all of the representatives. Eerie.

I just bought it a couple of weeks ago--eerie is right.

I'm not sure I agree with Iceman's assessment--films (as well as most any form of art) are often, and rightfully, used as reflection and commentary on our world and human condition. I greatly doubt the cast and crew of THE SIEGE are horrified by their contribution to the story--nay, they are probably shaken and numbed by how prophetic their concerns and fears (as manifested in the story) were...

I wouldn't be at all surprised if this insightful film, which was dismissed by most at the time of its release, now undergoes a whole new critical reassessment...

Ernest Hemingway once wrote, "The world is a fine place and worth fighting for." I agree with the second part...

A curious mix of the best and worst in motion picture entertainment--that's right, it's Filmmaker's DVDTracker list!
...and the fun doesn't stop there--check out how the madness all began with Filmmaker's Laserdisc Tracker list!

The first movie that came to my mind when I first saw the planes crash was "Red Dawn"!

THAT'S the name of the movie. I kept remebering the scene of the little boy seperated from his parents in the containment camps. And his father was an Arab that worked with the anti-terrorists as a consultant.
