I'm waiting for that, and After Hours as well.
Scorsese's DVD presence is generally in bad shape: several missing titles, and no special editions to be seen in Region 1 except for Criterion's Last Temptation of Christ. I thought there might be a new wave of releases with Gangs of New York, but with that being delayed until 2002, and Leo DiCaprio saying the movie's no good, I don't know. The Age of Innocence is coming soon, though. That's one of Scorsese's best. |

I can't link there now, but on IMDb a few days back DiCaprio was quoted as saying the film "wouldn't exactly wow the world." Also, he's trying to get a flat fee for his work instead of a percentage.
I have faith in the movie, even though it's been delayed until spring 2002 (because it's got New York, foreigners, and crime in it, even though it's set in eighteen-freaking-sixty). |
