Star Wars: Episode 1 - Directors Commentary

I sorta like how the Lucas comments came on the center speaker and left and rights used for the producer, sound and graphics people.

Anyone else like this use of speakers for commentary, particularly when doing one with so many people?

Yes, I love it. I think all commentaries with more than one person talking should have the voices spread out. I also like how the subtitles were used to identify each participant.

Hi!

It probably would be confusing as hell, but it would be fun to listen to a real 5.1 audio commentary, with six persons coming on six different speakers.
Just imagine, if they do a 5.1 audio commentary on Eps 4-6, they could put James Earl Jones on the subwoofer.

Malte.
