Anyone Else Get Timerider?

Anyone else get Timerider on Tuesday? I had the hardest time finding it (I went to 10 stores, and only Circuit City had it). I was waiting forever for it, and God was it worth the wait. Anchor Bay did a great job. It looks brand new.

I noticed it really hasn't been mentioned or reviewed anywhere though. If you got it, what'd you think?

Marty, the title sounds familiar. Can you give a short synopsis of the film?

Sure thing.

Fred Ward plays off-road racer Lyle Swann, who gets in the middle of a time travel experiment by accident and gets sent back to the year 1877. It was made in 1982 and co-stars Peter Coyote.

It's an excellent film - one of my favorites. Definately worth a look see if you get a chance.

Sounds Like Some Old Film. Not Interested. Oh Well. That's My Opinion.

I couldn't find TIMERIDER on VHS to rent so blew 16 bucks on it. I remember the film with a lot of fondness but hadn't seen it in over 15 years--After watching the DVD all I can say is thank God I saved all the packaging and returned back to the store! What a boring waste of time this movie was! Maybe I liked it when I was a kid cuz it was one of my first rentals. Man, this movie did not age well!!

Marty,
Did you notice any footage missing as stated by raptor7 at: http://www.dvdfile.com/interactive/f...ML/004566.html

He is the only one I heard mention anything missing? I just hope it was just one bad disc. Thanks

Unfortunately, he's correct. I'm starting to wonder if this edit was intentional.
