Couldnt find Empire of the Sun or Doctor Zhivago! Is this everywhere? - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

Did anyone pick these discs up today. I went everywhere, I mean everywhere: WalMart,Circuit City, Sams, Target, The Mall, everywhere and couldnt find it at any of them. Is this nationwide or something?

I've seen DOCTOR ZHIVAGO everywhere, even small outlets. But I haven't seen a single copy of EMPIRE OF THE SUN. Most places claim not to have ordered it.

I went to several places in downtown Toronto this afternoon, and none of them had Empire of the Sun. Suck-o-rama.

Couldn't find Empire of the Sun in downtown Vancouver either but they had plenty of Dr. Z. I'll try my local stores tomorrow.

Best Buy had Dr. Zhivago for $17.99 yesterday. They also had Empire of the Sun for about the same price.

Sunrise in Hamilton had all of them...

As well... Eastgate mall had lots of widescreen Cats and Dogs... it maybe was officially released yesterday?

I stopped in the mall today. SunCoast had one copy of each. Empire of the Sun for $24.99 and Dr. Zhivago for $29.99.

Best Buy has both those titles.

Cats and Dogs widescreen is at Tower. Everywhere else seems to have P&S.
