Quick Question on the X-Files Seasons DVD's

In the books that come with the DVD's, in the back they have a listing of all the X-Files episodes for the various seasons. Some of the episodes are highlighted in red. I have seasons 1-3 and different episodes are highlighted in every book. Does anyone no why these pacticular episodes are highlighted?

I'm not in front of my box sets, so I'm just guessing, but maybe those are "Mythology" episodes, as opposed to stand-alone episodes?

Either that, or they may be episodes that won more critical acclaim and/or awards than the others?

I noticed this as well - are they the same episodes that are represented graphically on the discs themselves?

I thought that the highlighted titles were part of the mythology stories as well. I was wrong. The highlighted titles are references to the pictures shown on the same page. Hope this helps!
