Yet another Army of Darkness thread

A few weeks ago I read at the BITS (I think) that sometime next year AB will no longer release the directors cut of AOD, because MGM owns the rights to it.

And something about MGM doing a proper remastering of the DC, and not that shitty tape master (its was Bruces personal copy from what I understand) they used for the Anchor Bay directors cut.

Anybody know anything about this?????

I got an e-mail from a source that wished to remain anonymous from a certain studio.

I was told that it is true that MGM does have the elements for the DC, but some are missing, but thats not all that bad.

What the bad new is that they can only release it outside of region 1
