Avia has widescrenn geometry a much better ergonomy to navigate thru... lessons for everything a beginner is looking for... (and now I'm used to it, even if I own both...) ![]() |

Avia has more audio tests and comes with RGB filters whereas VE only has the blue.
However, VE is coming out with a new version early in the new year, so you might want to wait to see how that is. ------------------ 1138 - DVD File Forum Greeter/Administrator There is the old Vulcan proverb: only Nixon could go to China. |

VE does the job, but navigating through the menus is a nightmare. I just have that because it was a free promitional from Toshiba. If I were to chose b/w the current versions now, I would pick Avia based upon others' description. I'm sure the new version of VE will be an improvement, though.
To people who have Avia, do they do something similiar to "If you've calibrated your system correctly, you should hear my voice walk around the room..." thing? I kind of liked that little demo. Miggy, the Thief [This message has been edited by Miggy (edited 11-30-2001).] |
