Mad Max DVD release?

Hey all-

I saw Mad Max for the first time in 15 years last night and thought it was hilarious to see Mel Gibson at 20 years old!!!!

I heard that there is going to be an official DVD release of this great film sometime soon! I'm sure it will have bonus footage, etc. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

Cheers-
Kevin

Hey Happy Kev, bet you didn't know you watched it dubbed and that is not Mel Gibson's voice at all, everyone's dubbed!

This new DVD release will finally have original Australian audio track

Finally. Mad Max without dubbing.

Being an Aussie, I cant say whether Mel's accent was to strong to understand, but I believe not.

You would think they would have released Mad Max down here, but hence no, not in any version, Mad Max 2 and Beyond Thunderdome got the crappy Warner release, but Mad Max has been delayed here again.

Good on this distributor for getting out a good version, and they'll be getting alot of customers from down here too, as it is a highly sort after movie.
