Action returns to television!

This topic doesn't really have a proper home. Now Playing concerns movies, and this area concerns software. But, since this is the most popular area, people who want might want to know about this will have the best chance of seeing it if it is here. Plus, Software is stuff you view at home...and Action is viewed at home, sooooo...anyway, on with it.

I don't know about you, but I loved the Fox show Action. I don't think it was given the proper chance, and I think it was one of the best shows on television...very funny. Jay Mohr rules in general, though.

Now, I saw an advertisement this afternoon that said that all new episodes (whatever ones that were finished but not shown on Fox, I presume) start next Tuesday at 9pm or 10pm. If you have FX, check your local listings.

I really liked this show and thought it was very funny but Fox never gave it a chance. Im glad there bringing it back to air on another
network. Although I can't watch it since Im from Canada and I don't get FX But It will
be On Bravo This Fall so Im happy that this is so other wise I would be pissed that you guys get to see it and I don't. There was apparantely a episode after the death of peter dragon where peter goes to heaven and tries to convince God to let him go back to earth. but It was never shown but we will finally get to see now YESSSSSSS. Who Else

i love this show and still have every episode on tape (all the ones that were aired). there are 3 that were not aired, but ShowCase will be broadcasting the whole series including the 3 extra episodes unedited! also, the director and jay mohr have expresed interest in releasing the series to dvd and vhs. can't wait

Word is that 3 or 4 more episodes were in the can before the "final" episode was shown by Fox. I'll have to scan for these "lost" gems on my local TV guide.

I am thinking that this show would fit right into HBO's lineup. They already have the outrageous stuff like Sopranos, Sex and the City and Arless. "Action" shares all the elements of existing HBO shows.

PLUS, Jay can finally swear like real Hollywood exec's. PLUS, if HBO picks it up, there's a chance in hell that they'll put it out on DVD like Sex and the City.

COME ON HBO...PICK IT UP !!!!!! (And while you're at it, could you please put the Sopranos on DVD too )

Action was orginally sopposed to be for HBO
but they decided not to air it the last minute and than Fox picked it up than cancelled it, So I don't think HBO would want it back, Esc thanks for the Info about them maybe being on DVD and vhs. I hope this is true I will buy them all. later.

FINALLY there is some kind of word on this series being released.

it is tentatively scheduled for a DVD release on Feb 21, 2006 according to DVDempire.com.

I hope you have the choice whether to watch it bleeped or unbleeped. I think it was funnier when edited. and I still have my Action tape with God, The Devil and Bob on it too!
