Your Favorite TV Shows on DVD You Have Purchased?

Mine would be:

Mad About You: Seasons 1 and 2
Babylon 5: All 5 Seasons
Mr Show: Seasons 1, 2, 3
Sliders: Seasons 1,2
Farscape: The Complete Series

What are yours?

Is there anything missing that has not been announced as coming on the horizon that you would really like to have?

The Simpsons: Seasons 1 through 4 (I'll go out on a limb and predict this will be a popular choice )
The Simpsons: Treehouse of Horror
Futurama: Seasons 1 through 3 (I'll get the last season as well, to complete the series)
Twin Peaks: Season 1 (I'll get season 2 if it ever gets released)
X-Files: Season 5 and 6
Band Of Brothers
Fawlty Towers: The Complete Collection
Wallace & Gromit: The First Three Adventures
Jonny Quest: The Complete First Season

Is there anything missing that has not been announced as coming on the horizon that you would really like to have?

Well, more of the Simpsons, the last Futurama season set (Aug 24!), Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex series of DVDs (I'm waiting for volume 1 to come in the mail).

I just got "Sliders" today. Pretty sucky about the price, but, whatever. I just have to be a bit stingier for a week or two. I watched the pilot, and it looked and sounded pretty good, so I'm happy. I'm not really a fan of the packaging, though. It LOOKS nice, but it feels very light - there's no plastic, only FOAM to hold the DVD's in place.

But my favorite TV DVD sets are:

Buffy
Angel
Star Trek: DS9
Futurama
Band of Brothers
The Dead Zone
Firefly

And I'm hoping to start getting Stargate SG-1 soon.

Its weird that the whole thing is foam. The reviewer at TVShowsOnDVD.com was worried that the foam would scratch the disc, but all his attempts to scratch it failed. He said he even spent one whole episode of the show putting a disc in and out of the foam slot, and still no scratch. So we can at least all take comfort in that.

Absolutely Fabulous - every single one

Second Sight - Series 1

Second Sight - Series 2

Twin Peaks Season 1

Mr. Bean - the entire series

Fawlty Towers - the entire series

Blackadder - the entire series

In Living Color

I wasn't very thrilled with French & Saunders "The Ingenue Years".

Love The Osbournes Season 1 and Son of the Beach Season 1, but I don't watch those all the time.

I own a lot of TV sets, and I love them all... it's my current "addiction"... Here's my absolute faves:

The X-Files: Seasons 1 - 9 - My favorite TV show of all time, presented in amazing digital clarity with a good bit of extras and commentary for each season.

E.R. Seasons 1 + 2 - The best soap-opera ever put on TV, the acting and stories are both great. They need to release these faster (they have 11 seasons and counting to get through!).

Buffy The Vampire Slayer Seasons 1-6, Angel Seasons 1-3 - Equally good shows, great DVDs... woo-ha!

South Park Seasons 1-4 - The best comedy on TV ever, animated or not. The gross jokes are OK, the underlying political and social commentary is fucking brilliant.

The West Wing Seasons 1-2 - The dialogue is amazing, and the stories are uplifting. I feel like changing the world after every episode.

Twin Peaks Season 1 - When the fuck is Season 2 of this amazing show coming out? I mean... fucking A!

Anything else not out yet? Yeah... I really want more Batman: The Animated series, plus it's sister shows Superman and JLA. Quantum Leap Season One was OK, but it's the later seasons I'm salivating for. As I said somewhere else, the nostalgia of Silk Stalking is almost too much.

The CD place down the street has pertty much all of the X-Files season sets used for $40. I probably start laying down around $100 each trip down there and picking up a few at a time. Been wanting those for a good while.

wow

I'm actually pretty amazed that no one else got 'My So-Called Life.' thought that was a pretty popular/high-demand title.

want? well, alongside 'Twin Peaks Season 2' and 'Twin Peaks: Pilot Episode' (yeah, I already have 'em on laserdisc, but like everyone else, I want a DVD edition) I'd also love someone to release the 'On The Air' sitcom Lynch did right after. it only ever came out on VHS here, but there was a Japanese laserdisc edition back in the day. wish I'd bought it when I could.

also: 'That's My Bush.'

I'd probably have all the Seasons (like The Soprano's..) and titles like Will & Grace if I didn't lose my job (laid-off).
