Does anybody know when the second seasons of deadwood and carnivale will be out on dvd, or the 6th season of oz will hit the shelves?

Hard to imagine that with the cost of said shows, HBO would want to skip any sort of revenue generation on them. I sure hope Carnivale 2 is released. Brilliant but cancelled.

These shows will be released... Deadwood 2 is probably waiting on the TV debut of Deadwood 3, for marketing purposes.

Just moving into our Television forums for further discussion. Personally i can't wait for the 2nd season of Carnivale. Supposibly some sort of announcement will be made in January on Carnivale. I was seeing if anything was mentioned for the 2nd season release on dvd and got caught on their message boards about some sort of announcement in January for the show. Whether this is for the dvd release or from what i read on the last 6-8 pages a possible deal to bring the series to some sort of finale on the big screen. I have not seen seaosn 2 at all but heard the ending was a big cliffhanger. Though i don't know how truthful it is because they said Miramax made a deal a few months ago for a 3 picture deal, but no word has ever been really released to the public. If not here is to the small hope that its brought back to the tv screens of HBO viewers and future dvd buyers.

Oh and i just bought Deadwood off a user on the IGN boards for a nice price and will start to watch as soon as i can

I think I just got a tingle! That Carnivale news would be the best news I got all week. Can you point me to the message board you saw that on?

Sure thing. Its just hard to find anything on them. HBO Carnivale Boards This is the search results for the possible Carnivale movie in the works (but they are message boards so take info with a grain of salt)
