Stargate: Atlantis SEASON 1 - Just picked it up!

Found it at my local Rogers Video tonight. I'll open it up tomorrow and relax with 2-4 episodes.

Eh. I watched the premiere, and realized that I'd just rather stick with SG-1 (which I didn't even do). Did it get better after that?

Dunno. I enjoy Stargate and only saw one ep of SG: Atlantis when I working in Korea. I'm halfway through Season 5 of the first series and will start the second series tomorrow.

Yeah I saw the first couple episodes and what kept me watching SG1 where the characters and Atlantis doesn't have anyone I care to see over and over again.

It takes time but so far I think the first season of Atlantis is a million times better than the first season of SG-1.

I've watched all the SG: Atlantis episodes so far, and I enjoy the ensemble cast they've put together. It is a bit different than SG-1 without all of the Egyptian mythology, but it's found its own identity. It really does feel like a Deep Space Nine spinoff from Star Trek: The Next Generation. I like the chemistry between Joe Flanigan and Torri Higginson as Major Shepherd and Dr. Weir, David Hewlett as Rodney McKay is a riot, and Rachel Luttrell as the finely-toned Teyla beating up bad guys is a pleasure to watch.
