Arrested Development - Season 3... CUT AGAIN

http://www.variety.com/article/VR111...4&cs=1&s=h&p=0

No more shows this November. Episode count from 22 to 13. This show is constantly hilarious. It is one of the few shows I get to the TV for. Bad Fox! And bad TV watching audience!

I know every network cancels good shows. It's inevitable that some shows won't find their audiences, but AD is consistently hilarious. This past episode, when Tobias attacked Tiny Town in the mole costume had me dying with laughter. I don't know if I'm more pissed at Fox for fucking with the show, or at the general public for not appreciating this show, when shit like Yes, Dear or Stacked remains on the air.

This doesn't look good for the show. I'd like to hope that if (most likely when) Fox cancels the show, some other network would pick it up, but I highly doubt it.

Along with Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld and The Office (BBC Version), this is one of the best comedies ever.

Damn straight. Go to hell Fox. This, Firefly, Wonderfalls... Christ.

That sucks. This is definitely one of the funniest shows on TV.

"Scrubs" doesn't get the love it deserves, either.

I would love to be watching Arrested Developement but thanks to work i haven't had the time too do so. If they get desperate i think maybe the best thing to do is to move is to its FX station along with Rescue Me and Over There. I tend to think it might find a more dedicated audience on the other channel then on the channel with nothing but garbage sitcoms.

EDIT NOTE:

Fox has given it the Ax, but is supposibly being shopped around

Possible hope for Arrested Development???

Quote:
Both ABC and Showtime have had conversations with 20th Century Fox TV and indicated they're open to making a deal for new episodes of the critically beloved, Emmy-winning comedy from creator Mitch Hurwitz. No formal negotiations have taken place, and there are still numerous hurdles that might prevent such a move -- including the show's hefty pricetag.
I'd rather it go to ABC, so I don't have to add even more cost to my cable bill, but I would seriously consider adding Showtime just for this show.

I dont care who gets it, as long as its somewhere...hopefully for a few more years. If they put it on the cooking channel, I'd still watch it.

Same here, though if it goes anywhere beyond network TV, it looks like I'll have to wait for the DVDs...

It's not on tonight. I read that they aren't airing the remaining four episodes.

It was on the AD forums on the Fox website so I dont know if its true or not.

If it is, that will really piss me off since they like promised to air the remaining episodes didnt they?

Screw them.

Someone better pick this thing up fast.

I just pray that either Showtime or ABC picks this up for season 4. But since its now officially canceled on FOX, I wanna get another shot at them. Hey FOX, you suck donkey balls. What other network that has an actual HIT on their hands (Prison Break), would actually put it on the shelf because they dont know where to put it. Just fucking lame.

With Arrested Development gone, all Fox has left to do is cancel The Simpsons and I'll never have to watch that station again.

I wish they had cancelled "The Simpsons" to keep "Arrested Development" on. It's been years since "The Simpsons" has been any good, and they continue to drag it out longer and longer as it gets progressively less and less funny.

I'm torn on the whole "Cancel the Simpsons" issue. While I agree that that past few seasons have been less than stellar, they occasionally put out a great episode. If they cancel the series, I will always wonder how many great episodes we would be missing out on.... but then again, how many crappy ones do we have to sit throguh before we get one of those great ones??? This is why I am torn.

"Last Episode" was perfect in everyway!!! Let's hope that it finds a home on ABC or Showtime.

That four episode finale was equivalent to a movie, and I think it's safe to say that that was the best finale we could have asked for. Solid gold.

Rest in peace, you crazy Bluths, for your death was only the beginning.

A great ending. I can't decide if I want them to continue on another network ('cause I'd love to see more episodes) or if it's better off just letting the show die ('cause after all the bullshit the show has gone through, is it ever going to find a proper audience?).

Well i watched the first episode and loved it. I have recorded all 4 for viewing and will hopefully get 1 or 2 more done tomorrow. Love to see where this sister and marriage thing is going.

I just love the "Hung Jury" bit Though the Judge Reinhold thing has been done before

Oh but who the hell cares. It still makes me laugh

Yeah, the Hung Jury had me cracking up. Somehow I bet William had no idea what he was doing, or what show he was helping out.
