THE FLASH: THE COMPLETE SERIES (1990) - Just picked it up

Thanks to Wal Mart, I picked up The Flash a little earlier than expected tonight. The packaging is similar to The Dukes Of Hazzard Season 5 set (overlaying, discs, synopsis etc). I'm going to put on the Pilot later on tonight.

Thanks.

Last copy too

The pilot was very entertaining and I especially enjoyed the non CGI FX. It was fun to see Tim Thomerson (Trancers) as a good guy

Where the hell have I been? This is the first Im hearing of this being released on DVD. Did they not hype this at all? And, yes, I do understand that this wouldnt fall into the realm of "hyping", but still. I need to get my head out of my ass and see whats coming out in the new year.

Just finished Disc 1. The third episode was fun. Hmm... fun. You could tell thea ctors were really enjoying themselves. Is that's whats missing on tv nowadays?

Minor spoiler below:

I love how the cops make fun of Barry because he's the CSI guy. "Go back to your test tubes!".

I enjoyed that series and may have to pick this up.

I will say though, that picture of The Flash on the box art above doesn't seem right to me. I don't remember him having boobs in the series.

I'm beginning to enjoy anything that is non-CGI. Good old fashioned camera tricks, make-up, props, sets and something called "acting" are much more enjoyable than CGI.

I will have to check to see if netflix has this. I have been going through the Greatest American Hero series and man does that bring back memories.
