Love Monkey
Anyone else watch this?
I like Tom Cavanagh a lot and I enjoyed it and plan to keep watching it. ED was one of my favorite shows and this reminds me of it a bit but I'll keep checking it out for sure.

This was a very good show. I would say that it could be the best new show fo the season. I intend to keep watching.
Another show that I thought was really promising was Heather Grahams new show. But after only 1 airing, quickly got yanked. So Im guessing that it joins the ranks of 1 episode seasons. ![]() |

I liked it, but still have to give it a bit more time to love it as much as I loved Ed. The one thing I don't really like is the lame John Mayer-esque musician Wayne. They couldn't have picked a more bland, typically wimpy singer/type to be the "hip new singer" on the scene.
But, other than that, it's got Tom Cavanaugh AND Judy Greer, so that's cool with me.

I was very much looking forward to this shw what with me being an Ed fan and all, but the premire last night left me disappointed. I hope it will get better with time, but to me the only two characters that had any depth to them were Tom and his "girlfriend" (her name escapes me), the blond. The rest of the cast were your typical sterotyped, uninteresting, characters. Oh, that Jeff guy that hired Tom at the end seemed like he had potential.

It's officially "on hiatus", but it's not a good sign for a heavily promoted new show to be plopped into the black hole known as "hiatus" after just three shows.
Sadly, I agree with the decision. As stated before I only thought there were two decent characters on the show. They ought to just bring back Ed instead of a bad clone of it.

VH1 will be airing Love Monkeys entire "season", including the 5 unaired episodes starting April 11 (Tuesday at 9:00pm).
I havent heard anything about the show being picked up by VH1, so Im guessing this will be like "Movies That Rock" kind of thing. Well, whatever happens, at least we will get to see all the episodes. |

I heard the new CW network was interested in it as well.
