Rockstar: Supergroup (Season 2)

Well, the "Band" has been announced and will be comprised of a supergroup looking to find their new lead singer. The band members are Motley Crue's Tommy Lee on Drums, Metallica's Jason Newsted on Bass, and Guns N' Roses Gilby Clarke on Guitar.

Anyone happy about this new Supergroup selection?

I like Tommy and Jason in the same band, but Gilby? This is the best guitarist they could find? Pretty weak if you ask me.

I was hoping for a Queen or Van Halen season. Oh well. At any rate, I'll still watch this over American Idol any day of the week.

The "Band" sounds pretty weak overall to me, but I will watch as I really enjoyed seeing people with real talent competing last season.

Ah, what are they going to do on elimination night when the three contestants have to sing an INXS, I mean--wait. Yeah, what are they going to do?

I liked this show the first time because there was some real talent, and I was an INXS fan from the 80's, but I'm not so keen on the new version.
