Well, I just finished the final season of Charmed. Ya know, if was a fairly fluffy show, and it could never compare to Buffy, but in its own way I found it highly entertaining, and I'm glad I watched it. The coda was incredibly well done, too. I'm sure I'll watch the series again.

I'm also watching Season 6 and, so far, I'm really not enjoying it.

I dunno, I really like the fact that Clark and Lex are finally becoming truly bitter rivals. I just hope that Lana FINALLY finds out Clark's secret, because that's getting fucking old.

I agree that Season 6 was indeed a nice step forward for the series. Plus i really enjoyed the stoy arc with The Green Arrow and mini Justice League episode. Sure we have some weak episodes like always but it was for sure a stronger season then say 4 & 5

Yes, that was certainly an interesting twist. Great for comedy, not so great for rationale but hey...what do we know

I am just finishing Corner Gas Season Two and am starting Heroes Season One.

I think she already has MJ (wine cellar ring any bells?). I hope that they cap the series off at Season 7 and end off strong. According to Michael Rosenbaum this is definitely his last season and he seemed to indicate that it very well may be the closer for the series. Here's to hoping!

Yeah, but It took about a season after Chloe found out Clark's secret in season 4 before she confessed this to Clark. I just hope we won't have to wait until the very last episode until that plotline is finally resolved. Yeah, I know that, canonically, Clark is destined to be with Lois, but Smallville fans definitely deserve some closure with the Clark/Lana thing. The 90's Superman animated series resolved all this in a single episode.

Yeah, the show has maintained it's quality admirably over it's long run, but I'd hate to see it just drag on and on like The X-Files did. Then again, since they're addiing Supergirl to the mix this season, that doesn't bode well for a swift and concise resolution this year.

I realize that they can't kill off Lana Lang but man would I love THAT as the closure! She started off hot but now is downright annoying...actually, she is one of the reasons that I contemplated not watching the show. Lois on the other hand has been a delightful addition to the show and I hope that the finale or closure is that Clark flies and Lois and him get hired together at the Daily P.

Then again, sometimes with the addition of a major character it is a sign that they want to end strong...who knows. I just hope that it doesn't recieve an "Alias" ending.

When I made my original statement I was on episode 10. Then, I saw episode 11 ("Justice") and it was like someone gave the writers some coffee… because they woke up and starting writing again. What a great second half!

I wouldn’t rate Season 6 as my favorite, but it’s definitely up there after those last 11 episodes.

I do have one issue, though:

Spoiler (Highlight or Triple Click to Read):
Clark finally tells Lana his secret, but he left out one of the most important parts: that it was his planet’s remains that killed her parents. I hope they discuss that in Season 7.

Smallville S5, just about done with that and hopefully will plow through Season 6 before the season premeire on Thursday.

Reading some of the posts above about Smallville. As a life long, and very huge Superman fan I would give the entire run up to this point about a 7/10. If each season was only 13 or so episodes the show would easily be great. But they seem to run back ot the formula of the "Meteor freak of the week" every other episode or the proverbial "Lana I love you but we can't be together because i'm afraid to tell you my secret." The show has a lot of potential if they would just be consistent. I'm hoping Season 7 will provide that because I feel this or Season 8 will be the last

Currently on Smallville: Complete Season 3 Disc 5

Quite shocked that I didn't have a clue this show was shot all over where I live. Cloverdale is the small town in real life & metropolis is actually Vancouver, B.C. Also there was an ep which showed the PNE. A festival done every year with rides, games etc etc. There is a good shot of the roller coaster & that thing is old school yet still runs. They built in the 20's I like LEX's taste in vehicles. ;D His mansion is actually on Vancouver island. Victoria to be exact. Enjoying season 3 more so than the previous 2 seasons but I still think they were important to have for character development.

Rowing in the same boat...when you watch them episode to episode in Season 5 you realize how often that theme of Lana and "the secret" and "we can't be together" and "how can I trust you" blah blah blah comes up...freakin annoying!

Just finished Smallville season 6... Wow, maybe the best season finale since season 3.

Spoiler (Highlight or Triple Click to Read):
-Liked the reveal of Chloe's nascent meteor freak ability.

-I totally call how Lana survived that car bomb...she just jumped into the mail truck that passed in front of her car. Although that's going to be a completely useless ruse without a body in the car...

-Finally, Clark grew a sack and told Lana. They just better not pull any "amnesia" bullshit again.

-"I'm you, just a little more...bizarre."

Anyways, it's remarkable how the show has managed to maintain it's quality for so long. I just hope that season 7 (the first I'm going to watch week-to-week on TV) will be the show's last, and it doesn't drag on endlessly like The X-Files did.

Finished up Season 5 & started Season 6 of Smallville.

Watched the first 2 eps, & the first ep definitely has noticeable A/V sync issues.
