K-Ville

Take 2 parts Lost, 2 parts The Shield, throw in a Hero, and what do you have: K-Ville.

Okay, it has nothing to do with the plot, but more of the actors in the Pilot episode from all these shows that I recognized.

Watched it today (on tape), and my initial impression is that it has potential. Is it a groundbreaking series. No. Did it keep me entertained. Yes. Will I be watching more. Yes.

For those that missed it last night, they are replaying it again tonight after House. Check it out.

I refuse to watch it because it's on Fox. I am sick and tired of getting attached to shows, only for Fox to decide that they don't want to show them anymore. I won't let Fox do it to me again. The only shows I watch on that channel are the ones I've been watching for awhile. Other than that, fuck 'em.

I totally agree with you 100%. And I have been pretty good lately in boycotting FOX. But I had taped Prison Break along with K-Ville cause I was busy. So today, watched it.

But yeah. They (FOX) have a terrible history of fucking the viewers over....repeatedly. More so than any other network.

Screw that noise. He was INCREDIBLE in The Shield. He blew me away, really. Just insanely good.

Then why does he keep demeaning himself with Stephin Fetchit crap like Kangaroo Jack and Transformers?

Everybody has to eat. I try not to hold bad jobs against actors. All of them have their share of roles they probably aren't too proud of.

I saw the K-ville opener, and I thought it was pretty good. But since it's in the same timeslot as Heroes, I'll likely be recording this for the rest of the season.

Anthony Anderson is very good as a dramatic actor. He was awesome in the Shield, and he was quite convincing in the opener.

I was meaning to start watching this cause the previews looked really good. How far into the season are they?

Monday's ep was the pilot/premiere, so just one episode to catch up.

I was tuning into this but I agree with Monty. Anderson just takes me out of the scene everytime. It is good to see Cole Hauser get some work these days, and I don't think that Anderson is a bad actor. It's just his mannerisms are all too familiar to his other characters. And his voice grates on me.

I watched the premier. I don't know if it is possible to throw more plotlines, twists, and revelations into a pilot. It was clustered.
