What the fuck is that ? Who authorized the retooling of The Who's "Baba O'Riley" for the opening credits? Dont fuck with a classic!

The retooling of the song blows, mainly because they jacked with their FANTASTIC opening title sequence, which was an example of awesome video editing and motion graphics.

I actually like the new beginning - gives the show their own unique edge instead of falling directly into the CSI formula of the other two shows. I thought it looked classy...just my opinion though

The song is kind of a mess compared to how it used to be, which then in turn messes up the rythm of the visuals. NY and Miami still have the best opening sequences, well used to, NY took a shit.

Season premiere was last week. And like all the current CSIs the crimes are getting paper thin and really really boring. It wasn't bad, just not all that good. But not nearly as awful as CSI:Miami the past two episodes.

Gloworm and I also want to plug our ears when the new "Baba O'Riley" track plays. My hope is that the outcry over the new opening is so strong that producers switch it back. It worked for "Scrubs" so maybe it can work here too.

Funny you mention Scrubs, because the original song is the slower version, and the retooled part was the original Scrubs intro. But I liked the original intro, and I am glad they switched it back.

I was initially thrown off by the redo of the intro song, but I can deal with it. As far as the show has gone, I like it. When it first started, it was too dark, and I joked with my friend that it was crazy they could get any forensic work done with no lights on. But they've adjusted the lighting, and the show is really good. I wonder if the Danny - Montana thing works out.

Its always cool to see Bubba and Lt. Dan sharing screen time together. But are we gonna see Forrest as a perp?

Well, I still like the retooling of the opening song--if you want to see a complete butcher job check out the new opener for The Unit...pure crap.

Stella in that dress...yowzers!

Actually I quite enjoy the new opening for the Unit, it goes along with a new sense of purpose the show seems to have. I don't mind retooling an opening, but retooling a classic like a Who song is just wrong.

And Stella went from okay to WOW in like one scene.

This is so funny how opposite our tastes our...I can't express too strongly how much I HATE the new opening song for The Unit...I find it completely L-A-M-E. But hey, we are each entitled to our preference. That is what keeps the world so interesting

I don't mean to say the new song for the unit is better than that up tempo marching song, but it's not that bad. I mean if we're judging from a PURE title sequence the direction of the new sequence is better, maybe not a better song but an overall better sequence for the unit.

Since I've been nailed as bored...yes, I just replayed the intro 3 times and it sucks.

Why F with a good thing? It's bad, and I mean BAD.
