I watched the pilot episode last night, and I pretty well disliked it. They messed around too much with the vampire myth (garlic and crosses have no effect, sunlight seems to do very little), and the acting was horrible. Story wasn't great either. Suffice it to say, I considered it weaksauce Angel wannabe stuff. Tonight I watched the second episode, and I liked it MUCH better. Still not nearly in the same league as Angel, but everything was tighter and better paced. And, the ending was really well done. I was impressed. I'll keep watching it.

I liked this show as well. It seems to have an interesting take on the vampire theme. It had some interesting casting from other shows like ALIAS and Veronica Mars. I think it could get some traction, so I'll keep watching it as well.
