CSI: Jorja Fox Last Episode

I thought the way she left the show (character wise) was pretty good. You could see that she was cracking, and something had to give. Even if it meant walking away from Grissom and her job. Leaving Las Vegas was a nice touch at the end.

As for Jorja, this is career suicide. I know she wants to go on and do other things. And she should. But if she thinks shes gonna find anything else as sweet as being on a top rated show, she is in for a rude awakening. Now she has said that she left on her own, but I think she was pushed out by the producers.

Jorja, meet Shelly Long. Shelly, meet Jorja.

Considering she demanded more money and the studio and producers said no, she was absolutely forced out. This was the diplomatic way of saying "we'll let you quit vs firing you".

George Eads (Nick Stoke) was smart enough to keep his head down and do the work, CSI isn't emmy award winning acting material, but as a b-list actor it still pays the bills.

Honestly, I've never liked Sara Sidle's character, mainly the fact that she's so overtly pro-animal/vegetarian/earthfirst/men suck/etc, i.e this completely abrasive "powerful female" character that she was just grating. There's better ways to make strong women characters who are opinionated without hitting us over the head like that or being annoying. Plus the whole romance between Gil and Sara was always creepy at best.

It was definitely creepy but I wish they would have explored it more. I don't know. The Dear John letter was kinda lame in my opinion though.

The show has always been good about mixing in character development in small bits. When the CSI's fail is when they make them too investigator driven, (Grave Danger being the one exception).
