You know I never even thought of that. I wonder what day they are on the island to try to correlate something. So what do you think Moon, is Jin working for Ben also or did he die protecting her like he said he would?

They said that this episode would reveal the last of the Oceanic six, so Jin has to be one of them. It would make Kate, Jack, Hurley, Sayid, Sun, and Jin. There is a reason Jin has had to separate from Sun and not let her know, or hell she may know, and it probably the same reason they cant talk to anyone about the island, and the same reasons that Sayid is working for Ben. Sun's Dad may very well be involved as well. If Jin isnt one of the 6 then who the hell is the 6th?

So many mysteries and theories I get a damn headache even trying to figure this mess out.

I don't think Jin is part of the Oceanic Six, look at the date of death on his Tombstone, I think somethings up. I'm wondering if they are considering Ji Yeon as the 6th person

I don't think that's the 6. A few weeks ago when ABC was previewing #5 of the Oceanic 6, Aaron (the kid) was the only new character revealed.

The date of death on the tombstone is the date of the Oceanic 815 crash, Sept 22, 2004, as Widmore's cover-up claimed that all the passengers died on that day.

I don't think Ji Yeon is the 6th survivor. Sun is about 2 months pregnant, and each season of Lost seems to cover about one month. Sun will likely still be pregnant by the end of the series.

I think the Oceanic 6 are all considered passengers who were on the flight, so Desmond or Juliet or Ben wouldn't count. That's why Ben is still alive, but doesn't count as one of the Oceanic 6.

There really aren't too many characters left that could be the last one, and the way some characters are, they likely won't leave the island or will die at some point, like Locke or Rose or Michael or Sawyer. Bernard and Claire are two likely candidates, but since Aaron is in Kate's care, Claire probably doesn't make it or remains in hiding or on the island.

Great episode last night, by the way. I didn't figure out the mixed flashback/flashforward until Hurley showed up. I first had my suspicions when Jin was in either China or Korea shopping in the store, because I didn't think Sun wanted to go back to Korea.

I believe Sun said last week or 2 weeks ago that she does want to go back to Korea but I can't be certain.

According to Lostpedia there are only 5 out of the 6 Oceanic 6 revealed, so I'm assuming they either changed something or jumped the gun with the voice over on the preview.

I'm hoping that Claire isn't one of the 6. Her character is basically useless now that Charlie is dead. I'm thinking either Sawyer or Locke. I think something will happen to change Locke's mind and he will want to get off the island.

I think next week's episode is the last until the end of April/beginning of May

I really don't see Locke ever changing his mind about the island. If he leaves he's back in a wheelchair (at least I assume) and he is someone important here not the box company worker back in civilization. Sawyer I could see changing his mind for Kate. It would make sense all along. I might be confused but did we ever find out who was in the coffin that only Jack showed up at the funeral for? I agree with the other posts that sometimes it's hard to keep the facts straight.

We don't know who the coffin as of yet, i'm sure we'll probably find out by the end of the year, but then theres th estory of why they're in the coffin.

Well if Locke goes back he'll probably get a settlement like everyone else and be famous so I wouldn't see him going back to the box company

That was only slightly more annoying than last night's episode.

On an unrelated note, Aaron was confirmed in next week's previews as being one of the Oceanic 6.

I was hoping that Sayid would torture Michael before turning him over to the Captain. I don't trust the Captain or Whidmore, but I also don't trust Ben's agenda. At any rate, I think that clip just shows how terrible his character was. I didn't miss him in Season 3, and I would have been fine if his story had just been dropped from the script entirely.

That said, last night's episode was an interesting one.

Yeah, Michael was one of my less favorite characters, and usually had among the least interesting flashback scenes. At least last night's flashbacks were more interesting for the character.

But with Walt now confirmed being back with civilization, why was Locke seeing ghosts of a "bigger" Walt on the island? Walt hasn't died, but is considered to be "special". The Lost writers are starting to lose me on this particular subplot, if they even care about it anymore.

I don't buy the concept of the island not wanting Michael to die, so that his loaded gun is jamming. This seemed kinda hokey.

Weakest episode this season so far.

Are we getting a new episode next week? I didn't stick around to watch the preview, and I'm seeing one TV schedule saying it's a rerun, while another saying it's new.

I agree with this being the weakest episode so far. The island doesn't want him to die (Lame). There won't be a new episode till April 24.

How do they pull that one off? He wouldn't be on the manifest. I assume that Oceanic would have a listing of the people on board. How do they explain Aaron who wasn't born till he was on the island.

you could say he was "onboard" due to claire being on board and then being rescued would have him counted as a person now although he techincally wasn't out and about on the plane

We know Ben gets off the island, too, so the number of survivors then isn't limited to just 6 people, even if you include Aaron. The Oceanic Six are just the 6 survivors that are known to the public world, but like Ben, there could be far more survivors who get off the island the same way as Ben, or by other means and wish to remain hidden.

Bringing up the subject of Aaron, I noticed that the writers seemed to have abandoned the concept of Aaron being the anti-Christ, which is what one of Claire's season 1 flashback episodes seemed to revolve around. Claire doesn't seemed to have told anyone, and Aaron doesn't exhibit supernatural powers (yet). I wonder if many of these small subplots that were introduced early on are not going to be resolved or explained. Hurley's bad luck with the numbers seems to have gone away when the hatch blew up.

Yeah, the "what happend to Michael and Walt?" mystery could have stayed unsolved. I want to know what's the deal with the ghosts, the smokey monster, the Hanso Corp (I think Whidmore and Paik are involved), and also the numbers.

They will all be addressed. There are still tons of ideas that they need to come back and I'm pretty sure they have the rest of the show mapped out and they will address it when the time is right

Remember when Mr. Friendly grabbed Michael's gun? Maybe he swapped out the bullets for duds...

When Michael crashed his car I thought maybe he was the one who died but no one went to the funeral for. Then of course he lived and I later realized that it wasn't a flash-forward. And here I thought I'd figured something out. lol

I was thinking about the "ghosts" recently and wondered if the island (or Jacob) is manifesting itself in the forms of others.

As for the smoke monster, I'll be glad when they reveal what that's all about. I don't really expect answers on that until next season though. Perhaps in the last couple episodes. We'll see.

After the show Wednesday night, I wondered why Sayid got mad at Michael and brought him to the captain after Michael had just told him and Desmond that he was doing it to save them. That seemed strange to me. I expected compassion, pity and thanks.

The ghosts could very well be manifestations of the smoke monster.

I also think that Michael being unable to kill himself will tie into Jack's Season 3 finale where he his about to jump off the bridge - I believe Jack is in the same "I can't die, but now I want to" situation.

Well, when he said he was working for Ben, things changed. Michael is not someone that is the most trustworthy of people. He killed Libby and AL, and then he sacrificed others just to get Walt back. I still don't have much sympathy for Michael.

A bit belated i know, but i was just asking Sub about this the other day. Possibly could bring up ideas of fate-like that psychic tried to prevent them from separating but it happened anyway.... Maybe I should look on the fan sites for theories/answers.

Pretty powerful episode last night. I was surprised at the offing of Alex and I really hope Rouseauu isn't dead either I liked her character and wanted to see her back story.

Ben is probably one of my favorite characters. Hes a good guy, a bad guy, he manipulates, probably one of the smartest characters I've ever seen on tv. The scene with him and Widmore was just chilling and I think sets the tone for alot of the flashforwards here on out
