Cartoon Character Trying To Get Sleep - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I'm looking for a cartoon of a character trying to get a good night's sleep but is constantly disturbed. The image that comes to mind is of a dog being bothered by the rabbit it will be hunting the next morning. To get some peace and quite, the dog stuffs cotton balls in it's ears, sticks plungers to it's head and pulls a pillow through it's ears. Is there a DVD with a cartoon like this available? Would any of the cartoon on the Loony Toons collection fit the bill? Thanks.

You are thinking of "Doggone Tired", directed by Tex Avery (MGM). Very funny, but alas, not on DVD in the US. It was released as part of a laserdisc box set many years ago (The Compleat Tex Avery, 5 discs, 1992), and perhaps it may see the light now that Sony has apparently purchased MGM.
There is a similarily themed toon on the set called "Rock-a-bye-bear", about a bear trying to sleep, one dog trying to make sure he stays asleep, and another trying to wake him. It's a riot.

There is a multi-disc set out in France, but it's apparently censored. However, the 2 above-mentioned shorts are probably on it.

I'm thinking it was an adam sandler film?
