South Park: Season 1 DVD Set fixed?
I really want to get South Park on DVD, but have been hesitant because of two issues: audio problems and the missing commentary.
I know it was available on a 5 CD set directly from Comedy Central, but when looking around Amazon, someone said you can get the commentary by mailing in your UPC. Is their any truth to this? Would they send you the commentary on CD, or DVDs with commentary? What about the audio problems? Were they ever fixed? I also heard about the 1st season getting re-printed because the rights changed to a different distributor. Anything happen with that? Any information I can get about the commentary and/or audio problems would be appreciated. And is there any way to get the unaired pilot episode on DVD still?

The reprinting didn't change anything but the logo at the bottom... the commentary is not and never will be on the discs... you can probably still get it from comedy central somehow... check their web page... The pilot was a giveaway with season 2 in limited quanity... check ebay... The audio problems are the same since the discs are the same exact thing... but I was never really bothered by it anyway...
How's that? |
