Mickey's THREE MUSKETEERS

Well, apart from an overly bright look which created a rather flat image (soon corrected by increasing contrast and lowering brightness), this is an exceptionally entertaining little film.

I wish the two central deleted scenes had been left in, as I don't strictly buy the reasons for taking them out, and it's more likely that the TV friendly 66-minute running time had to be ahered to instead of any plot motivation.

However, it's a fun ride, the characters are how they should be (and how we remember them!) and it's all done with sincerity. Come release date, everyone owes it to themselves (and Mickey!) to show that traditional 2D animation should NOT be dead at Disney.

BTW, the preview for the CG Twice Upon A Christmas really does look atrocious!

I love it too. I was on the fence about buying it but Amazon sent me a free copy (for being such a wonderful customer) & I'd highly recommend it. It does show that they can still do a nice 2d animation job. Good story, some pretty decent songs and Mickey. You can't go wrong with it. I voted against the new fastplay feature in the survey though. I like to play the movie and bonus feature in the order I want them in not how it is preprogrammed to do. I guess for little kids it's ok but they don't watch the features anyway so all you have to do is hit play on the feature and Disney can dump fastplay.

I've been hearing that loads of people got this free from Amazon.

What gives? I buy two or three titles a month!

And are they allowed to send out before release date??

Anyway, glad you enjoyed it!!
