Studio Ghibli DVD Boxset - fact or fiction?

Hi everyone,

Does anybody have any news or comments on the Studio Ghibli DVD Boxset [limited] Region 3 ?

http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-...li-70-973.html

When is this set out as several sites have conflicting release dates and should it be an essential purchase as I previously own Japanese versions of My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke & Spirited Away? Would the R3 releases have any differences in format or should I wait for a proposed Japanese release?

Cheers,

MyOwnZeitgeist.

This is an OFFICIAL boxset from IVL the HK distributor of Studio Ghibli DVDs.
The differences are minor, only subtitle and languages are different,
and so are a few extras on the discs.

They all have English subtitles by the way, and a few with dubs.

It also comes with some postcards or something else or another,
but all the discs and the contents are the same as the previously released R3 discs.

Only "My Neighbor The Yamadas" (Which was not released in HK)
and "Grave of the Fireflies" are not in the boxset.

It's your call, really.
Just depends on what you are missing.
(Just to add the Spirited Away disc is tinted red, if you know what i mean)

Thanks manicsounds,

I purchased the box set through a recommendation on dddhouse.com which arrived in the uk just after one week. Superb customer service.

The box set is amazing and I will forever thank everyone who recommended these films to me. I just need to find the time to watch these masterpieces.

Thank you very much.

Cheers,
