Simpsons plastic boxes: yaay or boo?

Seems the Simpson's "head" boxes will be on subsequent releases. I already have S6 (the Homer head) and might get the S7 Marge head box.

Love 'em? Hate em? They're different, that's for sure

Moving to Toon Town in 3, 2...

As for me, I sent away for the almost-regular case for season 6, and keep the discs in that, but I've found the Homer head a pretty convenient receptacle for my stray pens, pencils and erasers. That said, it's only regular-style cases from now on.

So what's the deal? You can get a different case for Season 6? How? And.... what does "almost-regular" mean... hmmmmm...

As for me... regular-style cases for sure.

Have you bought season 6 yet? There's a flyer in the case that contains an 800-number you can call for information on how to order a case that looks identical to the first 5 seasons (at least when it's placed next to them on the shelf) for $2.95 S+H. There's more info in the Toon Town thread devoted to season 6.

I kind of like the head cases. They are different. It's nice to have something look a little different amongst all the other product on the shelf. I'm pretty sure I'll continue to buy the head cases.

I like the looks of 'em however if I where to want to buy the sets I'd want all the sets to be uniform in size for easier display.

Wow... didn't know that. I'll probably be picking up both seasons this Tuesday. Thanks...

Homer found his head a convenient receptacle for crayons, too.

Regular cases for me too (sent out for the replacement case for season 6.

I was originally going to go with the standard case because there was something about the quality of the plastic I didn't like with the homer head. Then I decided to just stick with it. When I went to purchase S7 from wally the other day they only had the standard case and no Marge head. I bought it and now I have an uneven homer head sticking out amongst everything else.
Oh well.
