New SE of Anastasia on Tuesday?

I just read in the release date thread for 3/14 that there's a new SE of Anastasia with a Don Bluth/Gary Goldman commentary. This is the first I've heard about it. Can anyone confirm, and what might the other extra features consist of?

DVD Empire lists them. Other than the commentary there is a making of featurette but all the rest are games, how to draw, etc... (kiddy fluff). BUT the commentary, 2 discs, 2 movies (Bartok is a throw in) along with movie cash for Ice Age 2 only retails for $19.99 which is a no brainer. Price at CC will be $12.99 & with a free ticket (very nice price). DVD Empire also says that Anastasia is anamorphic (I hope it is. FINALLY!) while Bartok is full screen (DTV-OAR).

Sounds good to me! Looks like it contains the same featurette from the original disc, plus the new commentary, plus the Ice Age 2 movie cash, plus a dirt-cheap price (anamorphic means bupkiss to me and my Sharp 32-inch TV set ) means this is an easy double-dip. Now, if we can just get Bluth and Goldman to record a commentary for The Secret Of NIMH...

I wrote to Don Blueth and Gary Goldman about this once several years ago and asked for an SE of Anastasia with commentary and a lot of making-of stuff. I doubt they remember the letter now, but they did respond to me and said that they would love to participate with commentary, etc., but it was entirely Fox's decision and they had no input whatsoever on when/if it was going to get a better DVD.

I'm glad it did and will be picking this up next week -- the first time I've ever double dipped on DVD (excluding the LOTR trilogy where the DVDs were completely different anyway.)

I'm guessing that NIMH is the same way; they would probably love to commentate but need the studio's okay.

Picked it up today. Yes, the transfer is anamorphic (from the back of the box), and it looks pretty spiffy. The commentary by Bluth & Goldman is informative, if a bit dry. I haven't delved into any of the other goodies yet, but there was a free ticket to Ice Age 2 inside, so I'm happy with the purchase.
