Anyone interested in this? I didn't see it when it came on but I think I'll pick it up. I saw some clips on a late show that Samuel L. Jackson was on. It looked good and interesting.

I liked the look of it but never saw it in the UK and RZA was involved with the soundtrack so I might get it.

The packaging on this is really well done. A plastic slipcase over a very sturdy, textured and well designed box with foldout pictures of the series. It is also magnetic on the ends, holding it together. Can't wait to start watching this.

Just got done watching this and LOVED it. Didn't know anything about it except it was samurai swords and sam jackson so it was worth a potentially bad blind buy. I was not at all sorry I did. I bought the two sic directors cut. Great animation, great story and kick ass action.

I'm glad you liked it. I got the 2 disc director's cut as well. I didn't even consider the other version. I saw the "Spike tv version" in Target and the packaging just looked plain. The Director's cut packaging is pretty cool. Way better than I thought it was going to be. Best Buy had this free keychain with it, haha. Silly and the glue holding it on was a pain to get off the clear slipcase over the dvd case. I'm still impressed by how solid and sturdy that case is and the way it folds out into pictures of the series. I'm loving it, I hope they make more.
