Voltron

I used to watch this as a kid. And I don't know how well they hold up now. Anyone have any of these and are they worth getting?

I have seasons 1 and 2

I like it...of course going back to some of your childhood shows will find that some thinsg may seem cheesy but overall.. I love watching the series again on DVD and my kids are loving it too.

They come in a neat tin of the Lions. Overall quality of the DVD is similar to what you have watched when it was on television (although I see Voltron appeared recently in an early early showing on Cartoon Network).

If you loved it as a kid......get them :')

They came out here about 3 years ago.

I went out and bought them, don't do it. It isnt as good as I remembered and each episode is the same basically.

Let the memories remain. Same goes with Astro Boy!

Thanks Tattiana and orko007. I think I may rent one disc to just feed my curiousity. I'll hold off buying this one.

I'm guessing the same probably goes for Thundercats and He-man.

Thundercats i had no trouble with. I was really enjoying watching those again... 1st season of Heman was the ultimate in cheesy though and it made me laugh over how silly cartoons were back then.... still not bad to watch but you will definetely need some crackers to go along with the cheese of the 80s

But one collection is a must have for D&D fanatics... Buy the Dungeons and Dragons cartoons .. it should be in a nice boxed set. All teh extra materials along with the cartoons makes it a memorable and enjoyable trip down memory lane.

Thanks for that Tattiana. Thundercats holds up huh? I've had an itch to revist those lately.
