Ollie Johnston dead at 95

The last of Disney's nine old men has passed away at the age of 95. Ollie Johnston was a giant of animation and will be missed. RIP

Damn. Now his wonderful cameo in The Incredibles (with fellow Disney legend Frank Thomas) is even more poignant.

"You see that? Now that's doing it old-school!"

"No school like the old school."

This is really saddening to an animation student. One of the last times I saw him was a documentary on the Lady and the Tramp DVD, and he was starting to look a little tough.

He's with Frank now. R.I.P.

Rest in peace Mr. Johnston. I'm really saddened that this amazing, pioneering team of animators is gone.
