My setup...

Now that I've gotten rid of the roomate I'm getting my house set up pretty decent, well, decent for a geek. I've got one room upstairs dedicated to just HT. That's where I've put all the good stuff. None of my stuff is top of the line but it's good enough for me. I'm hoping to add a 53" widescreen TV early next year. Please forgive the UGLY blue walls. They will be repainted soon, along with the woodwork and ceiling.

The living room is set up pretty fairly neat as well. More for aesthetics than true surround though. The TV in the fireplace is coming along nicely. I need to get some firewood from my folks and stack it up in front. When I'm done all you should see is the TV screen.

Are those "IR" holes cut out in the fireplace setup? Neat idea. All you need now is a dvd or vhs of a burning yule log.

You need to have a painting party and tell everyone that paints that they get to watch a movie in 5.1 when they are done.

Nice setup Tiktokman, but one question; How the hell is Santa going to get thru the chimney ? If you really want to give ol' Saint Nick a suprise, hook up your sub in the flue and let her rip!
