how do you like those PSBs? a local store had carried them (when I lived in Albany) and I always rather fancied them. And if you dont mind me asking what did they cost you?

I love these PSB's. Very accurate and detailed. I bought them at www.dmc-electronics.com here in Southern California. They are an authorized dealer and sell Factory Blemished PSBs for a great price.

6T $599a pair
9C $239
2B $239 a pair

I listened to both PSB and Paradigm and both sounded pretty much alike but I went with the PSB because of the price. I was also fortunate that none of my speakers had obvious Blemishes. They look and sound perfect.

Very nice setup!

Nice to see another fan of Canadian loudspeakers!

I am a big fan of Denon

SVS! Internet direct companies are the best.

With such a strong system, have you looked into a universal player for high resolution audio, yet?

Denon makes some incredible players!

I definitely want to upgrade to a Universal DVD Player. I am looking at the Denon 2200 or Denon 2900 probably after the New Year. Just have so many expenses this X-Mas season. I'm still contemplating on which one to get. I can get the 2900 for around $750 on sale at an authorized Denon Dealer here in SoCal so that's where I am leaning towards. Plus I heard the 2900's Audio section is superior to the 2200. I am itching to get it now but my wife will kill me.

Canadian Speakers Rock - PSB, Paradigm, Axiom, etc...

SVS - This is one mean machine!

I go to school in San Luis Obispo, but my parents live in Irvine, so I go down there a lot, what store down there has the 2900 for that much authorized?

Valley TV in El Monte and ask for Miguel. You can get their number from Denon's website.

Thanks,

I wonder if any of the smaller boutique stores in Orange County will go that low.

The Denon store in San Luis Obispo laughed and told me to leave when I sincerely showed them that at goodguys.com it would cost me $200 less than with them. Assholes.

It doesn't hurt to try at all. I know El Monte is a drive from Irvine but it's better to save $250 then pay close to MSRP.

I hate when stores don't price match especially if it's legit and from an authorized dealer.

Looking good dude!

Did you already calibrate your setup (audio&video) ? And where's the shot of the other rear speaker

I gotta say I like the color of the walls too.....looks alot like my walls

Editied; Dude, I think you better look at getting that TV serviced. I swear I see an image of someone 'mooning' you burned into the screen!

Thanks Iguana Man! No, I haven't had a chance to ISF calibrate my system yet. I will hold off until I get my HDTV Box. Once I get that and maybe an upgrade in my DVD player I will for sure get it Professionally Calibrated.

Love your walls as well but I especially love the Becks!

Professionally calibrated ? Wow, good for you, however, what I meant was - have you calibrated the TV with a calibration DVD like Video Essentials or AVIA ? This method would certainly save you some money. These DVD's also allow you to fine tune your audio & surround sound with the addition of a RadioShack SPL meter.

But hey, if you're going for the Professional Calibration -- more power to ya.

I'll loan you my DVD's, but it will cost you a sixpack of Becks

I thought you meant having it Professionaly Calibrated but as far as Avia is concerned the answer is Yes on both the Video and Audio.

Becks sounds about good right now.
