We got the TV before we got the DVD/Reciever. But, If we got everything at the same time, I would get them all Panasonic.

Yeah, I will post pics. It's just I'm having trouble putting them on......but they'll be on soon

Great pics! Are you happy with your 4:3 TV or is there a plan to upgrade to a 16:9 TV, at some point in the future?

Peace...

Yeah, I'm Happy with the 4:3 TV, but of course, when we save up more money then, for sure, there will be an upgrade to the 16:9 TV. I have been going around some of my friends house and they have their 16:9 which looks awesome. So yeah, in the near future there will be an upgrade, but my 4:3 will do, for now

clrb15; That looks nice, real nice. Is there a specific reason why you mounted the rears as close to "ear" level as you did? I'm sure it sounds great, but you may want to consider moving them up and maybe out a bit. If you bought speaker mounts, you could then angle them down and into an area in front of the couch to get a more seamless surround effect. Just a thought! If you're worried about appearance, you can either run the speaker wire up inside the wall (a job, but worth it) or by "channels" from Home Depot or Lowes that let you run the speaker wire inside them (they attach to the wall) and then paint them to match the wall color.

Please don't think I'm saying it has to be that way....it's merely a thought that I think would give you an even better overall movie experience. Again, nice setup and enjoy!

Nice setup, very clean lines.

Is that couch from The Lion King or the Woody's Round Up (Toy Story) collection? Either way I'd like to get one, looks comfy.

Thanks for the advice, Iguana Man That's true I should move the rear speakers out a bit because, now that I look at it, they are too close. I thought there wasn't any difference in whether the speakers were near or far, but since this is my first HT any advice that I can get to better the look and/or apperance of my equipment is surely appreciated.

As for the speaker wires of the rear speakers we got speaker mounts as you can see, and the wires go inside the stand. And I'm pretty satisfied with that. But I'll check those recommendations out too. Let's hope they still have some in stock

Thanks again

Well I was really refering to the sound, not so much the look & apperance . Moving them up a couple feet and then out a bit should (IMO) give you a better surround sound experience.
