Chromy's Home Theater -- Take 2

Well, some major upgrades to the video system since the last time I did a system expose. (Old setup Chromy's Home Theater)

92" Stewart Firehawk

Wharfdale Emerald LR speakers (towers, 6.5" woof, 6.5" mid-woof, 1" tweeter)

Center
Wharfdale Emerald Center speaker (2 5.25" woofs, 1" tweeter, doesn't need a RS super tweeter like Eye's Polk to be inteligible )

Surrounds (Side)
Paradigm Export BPs (bi-polar towers, 2 6.5" mid-woofers, 2 1" tweeters)

Surrounds (back)
Polk Audio Bookshelf Speakers (6.5" mid-woof, 2 1" tweeters)

View of the front

Here is a view of the front of the home theater. The white/grey part of the screen is about 6.5 feet across. The entire room is about 9.5 feet wide.

Theater Back

Here is a closer view of the projector. The crud on the lens is a neutral density filter attached to the lens cap (with a hole cut in it) to cut down on the light output so's I don't have to wear sunglasses

And finally...

An interesting couple of shots getting 'up close and personal' with the screen to illustrate pixel fill on the DLP projector.

First is a mid-level zoom on a small area of the screen from the first LOTR shot from above. Second in an extreme closeup... you can see the crushed shiny pearly stuff that they spray on the screen to make it have a positive gain...

I paid ~ 9.5k for the projector, and about 1.5k for the screen/frame. So about... lets see... carry the 3... TOO FRIGGIN MUCH
