Very nice. I love the idea of using cabinets. Do the shelves roll out? It seems like it would be kind of hard to find the movie you want since there'll all pushed together and you can't see the title.

No the shelves don't roll out, that would be nice. Well, believe it or not I actually categorize them all in alphabetical order. Thats the only painfull thing about my dvd set-up, everytime I get a new title, I have to take the last title out & put it in the next cabinet, slide all the rest over to get them back in Alphabetical order. Its not as bad as it may sound. Finding titles is easy. Getting the ones from the back row isn't.

That's a great looking setup Derb. Your TV looks incredibly good. Is it an HDTV? The clarity of the DVD's looks so nice on the screen. My family just got a HDTV as well, and the only thing we can get to look nice is the actual HD channels.

It is a Hd-Ready 60' Lcd Sony Grand Wega KF610. It took me quite some time to calibrate the settings to my preference & once I got it to look as good as I could, I checked out some HD channels. They had Frequency on in full 1080i HD, I then put my dvd copy of the same film on & was shocked that there was very little difference between HD & DVD. I know some HD channels look better than others, but this channel was really hard to notice the difference from the actual dvd. PBS & few other regular HD programming still looks better though, but not by much. I'm not 100%, but I think my Sony has a built in line doubler or something, dunno.
