Back of the living room.

The old chair surrounded by tables... or still waiting for the couches to arrive.

Your TV is too small & I'm not a big fan of those curtains.

You'll just have to wipe your hands on something else then.

Jesus, lost, is Aunt Flow in town or something?

I'll get better photo's up later, the curtain's are burgandy and the TV looks big in the room when you're actually there.

That's what all the guys with small TVs say.

I'm just a frustrated interior designer working in the wrong field.

Are you still building that theatre in the basement?

Yes, it won't be for another 2-3 years, but when it's done it will be the most kick-ass HT ever created. Bill Gates will be calling to have his redone. George Lucas will want to screen Part 7 there. Beer will flow, woman will swoon, and men's manhood will retract upon reflection.

The specifics will not be shared, mostly because I don't want anyone else to do it first, but most everything will be hand made, from the floor, furniture, pool table, walls, ceiling, most everything.

Well it looks pretty damn good to me...

Have you considered moving what I assume are your vid games to the left of the audio rack thus shifting the TV to the right? It would allow for a more centered viewing angle from the chair and soon to be couch..no?

And that TV seems big enough. I mean, look at Lostwire's girlfriend in his avatar....man is she one ugly, hairy biatch! Guess size doesn't matter after all Inc'.

The room looks like it has potential. The space you have in that room is great for any upgrades you might consider down the road. I am also building a HT room in the basement, which I figure (if lucky) will be done in about 3-4 years.

lostwire, I've seen those pics before & I am honestly NOT impressed by that theater. I don't care how much money that moron wasted, or what components that person uses. You forgot to show the pic of the front entrance door. "Star Wars Geeks Only" :p

Thise are music CDs (I know, they're almost like records now), and I probably will be moving the whole thing over, but will wait until after the couches come in to get a better feel for the layout.

Ya, who'da thunk he's a Sasquatch chaser. I guess the whole outdoors jeep rock crawler thing might have given it away.

A pic from last night with the curtains open...

We aren't done, not by a long shot, but after the couches are in and we get some stuff on the walls it will be a lot more inviting.

The planning part is fun, all that potential, then the budget cuts have to come
Right now I'm still studying acoustic theory and treatment design. I want this sucker to sound as good as it looks.

Most definitely a Star Wars junky area, but you have to appreciate the design talent that went into it, even if you can't stand Star Wars, they still did great job at transforming that space into a functional HT that does look like it could be a set in the actual film.

Looks nicer yet now that she's all centered up! You really don't do this room service with the "wannabe" in the title Inc'.....it looks f-ing sweet!

I know I'd wanna be in that room for a movie!

Thanks, Ig', it's still a work in progress though. The couches are coming on the Oct 7th, so come on over anytime after that.
