My HT? Very sparse

Not in a million years did I think i would ever be posting here, and I do not think that it is quite worthy of a post, someone wanted pictures so here they are. No sound yet, just a projector and screen, but I am hoping to get some speakers soon. Anyway, I am just a sophomore in college, but I hope you will be proud that I got my projector before any furniture!

The Screen

An artsy shot

Flash!

The Lights Dim

TETSUO!!!!! (sorry bout the focus; my camera does not take very good pictures without the flash.

My ratty old, used, free chair

My DVD Shelf (which I guess was much bigger in size that the others cause now it is tiny)

Damn right! PJ first, everything else later. It looks like your off to a good start. When will you get your sound setup?

P.S. I see Garden State hiding on your table.

I am planning on getting sound in pieces as I can afford it. It will probably take a while, maybe before I get my couch. We shall see.
Garden State is indeed hiding there waiting to be returned to a friend. I finally watched it so I can further my claim that Portman is the worst thing on the screen these days. I might have to say that this is her best performance, still far from real or believable, but it was the closest I have seen. The movie itself, while interesting to a point failed a bit for me. It was frustrating, kind of hard to explain why, but it just didn't work for me. Oh well.

Definitly a good start. Sounds like you have my problem, champaign taste on a beer budget. What kind of projector is that? Also, what is that thing over the screen? PVC?

From the looks of it, and man I hope I'm wrong, but that looks like a radiator for heat?!?!

Tell me I'm wrong LeChuck!

Congrats on the PJ and oil that damn chain already. Just don't do it inside.

That is indeed my heating. I live in a basement apartment so there are pipes and stuff all over the ceiling waiting to attack people's heads. The heating is also on the ceilings even though they are unused since the heating pipes that heat the rest of the place make it sauna hot, Africa hot.

The PJ is an Infocus SP4805.

Not to sidetrack, but why in the name of God would anyone ever put the heating up against the ceiling? I am at a complete loss for this.

Heat rises! Or do you live in Japan on the upsidedown part of the Earth?
