But for now it works and it sounds pretty darn good!

Yeah, I have opposite problem. Now I need a player that supplies sound through HDMI - Darn HDAO.

You can bet the HD-A2 will be less than $200 soon...

Looking sharp, Zeph!

The new Denon pieces are nice. Where are the DTS-HD caps from?

Thanks Pirate.

The DTS-HD MA screen is off a Blu-ray DTS-HD Demo Disc.

I think he should have put the Denon gear on some little clay pots (turned upside down of course).

That's what I would have done.

The upgrades are seriously nice Zeph', I'd love to visit the 'Zephplex' one of these days!

It was available at the CES show. But I did find one place that has them (or at least they did), Widescreen Review online has a store to buy movies and demo discs. Last time I checked they still had them available. And the really cool part is that you only have to pay the shipping cost, which was something like 7 dollars.

It's a killer demo that offers cool movie clips from Night at the Museum, Eragon, X Men United, and Rush Hour 3. And all in DTS-HD MA! Very cool stuff. They have both the Blu-ray and HD DVD available. I got both as each offers different movie clips. But get them while they last as supplies are very limited.

Here's the link:

If you're referring to the Denon pre/pro, well it will allow me to listen to all the new audio formats (DTS-HD MA, TrueHD, Uncompressed PCM) sent bitstream via HDMI. I will be able to stream lossless music from my PC to the Denon, have the ability to process video sources using HQV Realta, Have three subs connected, I mean the list just goes on and on and on.

The Bluy-ray Transport lets me send the raw bitstream to the Denon pre/pro and send the 1080p Blu-ray picture to be processed by the Realta. These 2 units are some major upgrades for me, and I just wanted to share the new look with my buds here.

I haven't upgraded any more AV gear (yet), but I did give my Martin Logan Aerius i surrounds a bit of a face lift. They have had black wood trim for years, and I have always wanted them to match my ML reQuest mains. So I finally took 'em off and refinished them, and now they are a beautiful natural oak finish. It was a lot of work refinishing them but I think they came out splendid.

After

They definitely look better now. Those strips come off separately or with the front grill attached?

Very very impressive. Nice job. Probably more work then I would have been willing to do.

I would miss the black, though.

Thanks guys. Yes it was a LOT of work refinishing them, but I just wanted all of my Logans to match. I probably would have left everything as is had the mains been black as well. But I love the new look.

All I can say is WOW!!!!!!

You've got an excellent setup there and I would love to swing by and watch a movie or two sometime.

I also own a Pioneer DVL-919 even though I don't use it much. I probably need to fire it up and spin a LD or two sometime.

If I may ask, what is the current ballpark value of your HT?

Peace...
