I would feel lame voting for my own, especially since everyone here has awesome theaters, but I think I liked ESC's the best. His thread was very cool and informative!

This is incredibly difficult.

Honestly, it's a crap shoot given what the person had to work with and frankly, how much real effort they put into it. That outdoor theater of mine really doesn't belong with these other four since its easy to do what I did. So who ever voted for that, thanks but, come on...lets get real.

ESC spent some serious time and effort in the making of his HT. I don't know if I'd have that in me but dayum! He worked HARD and it shows.

Sambo' utilized his space to the tits. Awesome usage and layout given those constraints.

Wilson would have the best basement I've ever seen if only it had a Bar! HAW! Ok, even without the Bar, it is a beautiful layout with movie and pool table and simply...wow!

Pliss' just moved in so I see an already GREAT room gaining some serious improvements over time based on potential I am sure he has planned.

Again, it's far too difficult to choose since given each home and it's constraints, I see maximized HT's and one that ain't fully maxed.

I gotta sit back and think again on whose I'll vote for since if any poll deserved the multiple vote option, it's this one for me.

Wow, this was tough, because they are all good looking theaters, so I gave my vote to what I consider complete originality and mobility.

Voting on this one was tough for me as well, as you all put a lot of thought into your systems. I gave my vote for the one with the best layout, best seating, and best overall feel of being in a theater.

I'm down to Wilson and Esc. Damn. I'll revisit tomorrow morning when there is less beer involved.

Esc. He without a doubt showed us he was commited to making his HT work come hell or high water. He documented it. He did some cool things with it and frankly...I see effort and thus I will vote for his.

However, the other 3 are worth noting and if I were to crash someones place, it would be Wilsons. This had to be the hardest decision I've made recently and I hate all of you for that.

Sambow...your's is the one I think I'd get hammered in first and while that may sound stupid, it's meant with seriousness and as a compliment.

Pliss'.....I can't wait for next year when this thing blows all the others away. For some reason I think it will, eventually.

Maybe this one won't, there's only so much I can do with a rent house. Probably year after next when I can build a theater room that will rule all!

since I'd feel like a knob voting for my own, I voted for Wilson's.

It doesn't seem to matter whos theater room I see, I always like their's better. I really like the brick and color scheme in Wilson's room, the projector in an alcove, openness of the basement and the simplicity of the room. basically I love the whole package

My fav so far on the forums has been The Plissken 2.0

it just looks so dark and cozy. but since it wasn't nominated/no longer exists I'll have to go with Wilson's

Yep, nothing beats the look of a Monster cable for sale on Ebay. (and here I thought I drank too much!)

I voted for plissken! I like the fact that his room is pitchblack and it looks pretty isolated and quiet! PS - the main reason for the vote, or what pushed me over the edge was the "now playing" dvd holder... I have a rack next to my tv that I took off an old PS2 store display that holds 5 dvds for my 5 disc changer (that way I can always see whats in each tray). It's just a nice touch that gets peoples attention

Isn't this where the least amount of votes wins?

Iggy, you and anyone from the file can come over and crash any time, hehe.

I love these theater threads. I can usually start looking and end up spending a good 3 hours just going through all the posts. Great job again everyone!

Congrats Wilson! I must say, I was leaning hard toward voting for you, but it was hard for me NOT to vote for ESC for all the turmoil If there was a way for me to vote for both, you better believe I would have!

Thanks you guys.

As you all said before it was nice to see what everyone has done and how much effort everyone has put into this hobby/obsession.

p.s. Iguana. The bar is there it's just not done yet.

another late post for me. oh well.

Congrats Wilson. I can be a bit dense sometimes. I just realized how close you were to me. We are going to have to visit each other's room some day soon. We're only an hour away from each other. Chlngr, Wilson definitely deserved to win this as his whole area looks much more professionally done than my room does. Mine was built on an extremely small budget and 2 of us did 95% of the work with no outside contracting help.
