That's neat but I would have liked to have seen a shot of a widescreen movie in action within the gate. Seems to me it could end up looking weird.

Must be nice though to have the kind of dough to make a themed HT.

My thoughts on the screen as well. I tend to think watching the movie in a circular frame would be awkward or just drive me nuts looking at. The overall look and design is cool but doesn't seem practical unlike many other fancy home theater designs out there (which i too hope to have one day when i'm stinking rich)

These are nice to look at but I think I would get bored with a themed theater unless I had enough props and income to keep changing it up evry so often. It is nice though.

I'm all for a neat, theme hometheater room, but this is just stupid.

I honestly can't think of a theme I'd want for a HT. I wouldn't want to think about, say, Star Wars when I'm watching I Spit On Your Grave.

That's funny, because I always think about I Spit On Your Grave while I'm watching Star Wars.

So, are you turning your theatre into a swampy den of rape and murder?

You should make popcorn bowls out of used condoms and paper-mache. And perhaps some decorative banjos?

Remember my Trainspotting theatre?

This would be a problem for me too. Star Wars is sort of overdone, but that is one I would want to put together. There are plenty of scenes left that havent been done as home theaters.

Make it look like a miniature version of an old, ornate theater. You'd have class.

I also enjoyed the design of a smaller theater I went to once - the inside of the place simulated a Spanish-town square, complete with a night-scene ceiling. It was a surprising gem in a grimy city. Of course it's closed now.
